IN PERSON: LOST IN MILLBURN WITH JAMES KEEFE
Passing through Millburn, New Jersey on a fall Sunday afternoon, a wise-cracking show-biz pianist named Old Jimmy's car has broken down. With nowhere else to go, he has taken refuge in the local library, where he puts on an impromptu show in place of the scheduled performer who never showed up. Despite his initial air of jaded annoyance, Old Jimmy develops an attitude of gratitude for Millburn over an hour of classical, pop, Broadway, and comedic tunes, with a few anecdotes that may or may not be true.
