IN-PERSON: ECLIPSE VIEWING (PROGRAM IS FULL)
*** At this time, the program and the waitlist are full ***
Come see the solar eclipse! We will be gathering at the Library Field from 3:00 to 4:00pm. This event is weather-permitting (let's hope for a clear sunny day!)
Each registered attendee will be given a free pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses for the event— don't look up without them!
A total solar eclipse is happening today, with its maximum (or darkest point of the eclipse) happening at 3:24pm. From New Jersey, the sun will nearly be covered by the moon, but a sliver will still remain as NJ is not in the direct path of the elipse. The moon will first begin to cover the sun at 2:09pm and end at 4:35pm.
