IN PERSON: EXPLORING THE IMMIGRANT EXPERIENCE WITH DANIEL TAM-CLAIBORNE
Novelist Daniel Tam-Claiborne will read from and discuss his latest book, Transplants. The discussion will seek to explore the experiences of immigrants navigating identity, culture, and belonging in America with a goal of fostering empathy, inclusion, and intergenerational conversation around immigration and identity. Video clips from the Serica/PBS series “be/longing: Asian Americans Now” will also be shown. Copies of Transplants will be available for purchase and signing. Presented in collaboration with the Millburn Short Hills Chinese Association.
