IN PERSON: PAINTING THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION WITH JOEL FARKAS

Learn about the importance of the fine arts during the American Revolution and how this artwork helps define us as a nation today. Paintings, poems, portraits, sculptures, music and more will be highlighted.

Joel Farkas is a National Park Service volunteer docent at Washington’s Headquarters in Morristown NJ and a recipient of the National Park Service Centennial Volunteer Challenge Award. His goal is to motivate everyone to learn more about the founding of our country: the extraordinary people, and the sacrifices they made, that resulted in the country we live in today.
