LIFETIME LEARNING SERIES: SAFE MEDICATION USE
Come join us for a 5 week lecture series for adults. We will be discussing many different topics, including arts/humanities, health/wellness, and current technologies.
Join Jessica Bente, Transitions of Care Clinical Pharmacist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, a licensed pharmacist and a registered immunizer. She received her PharmD from St. John’s University in May 2014, after which she pursued a postgraduate year one ( PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Being a part of the Transitions of Care team, Jessica primarily follows patients with a diagnosis of COPD or pneumonia, who return home upon discharge. Her primary responsibilities include medication reconciliation, medication counseling, follow-up phone calls, and home visits to patients once discharged. Her practice areas of interest are COPD, dyslipidemia, and diabetes management.
