You CAN take a Gap Year this Fall! Are you wondering about the benefits of a Gap Year, and realistic options amidst COVID? Join Katherine Stievater, Founder of Gap Year Solutions, for a virtual presentation and Q&A about the many available domestic programs, local activities, and new options offering social connection and mentoring to students.

Bio:
Katherine Stievater founded Gap Year Solutions to help students successfully transition to college with a customized plan that builds life skills through “Real World Learning”. She was inspired to play a leadership role in the Gap Year community as a result of her experiences with today’s teens and her family. Based in the Boston, MA area, she serves on the Board of Advisors and the Standards & Accreditation Committee of the national Gap Year Association, and is a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. Katherine travels frequently to speak about Gap Years at schools, fairs and conferences, vets Gap Year programs in the U.S. and abroad, and writes regularly about Gap Years including recently about the impact of COVID-19.
