POINT OF ORIGIN MASTER ARTIST SERIES from the Millburn Short Hills Art Advisory Committee

Local esteemed artist Oscar Peterson discusses how art has taken him around the world and given him the opportunity to speak to people globally in a universal language. He creates art as a way to tell a story and intrigue the audience. Mr. Peterson will also give an oil painting demonstration during the presentation.

Oscar Peterson is a long-time resident of Millburn and is currently a Vice Chairman of the Millburn Short Hills Art Advisory Committee along with Amy McGovern. He has worked as a professional art director and designer/illustrator for various corporations and nonprofits, and as a commissioned fine arts painter specializing in portraiture. An alumnus of Pratt Institute and the Art Students League, he has studied with many leading realist painters, including Nelson Shanks, Dave Passalacqua, and Costa Vavagiakis.
