ON-LINE: AUTHOR VISIT WITH YANGSOOK CHOI: SELF-PORTRAIT ART WORSHOP FOR KIDS!
Online event for children ages 5 to 12. Kids, join us online for a virtual visit with author Yangsook Choi! Yangsook Choi is the author and illustrator of many childrens books including The Name Jar. She will talk about her experiences as an illustrator and conduct a self-portrait drawing workshop, offering a set-by-step guide to help develop observational drawing skills. It gives a framework to practice seeing yourself in the best possible way and build self-compassion. No prior drawing skills required, just having an interest in learning! Kids are encouraged to have some paper and pencils ready at home for the workshop. Class runs about 45 minutes. Register a spot for each child who would like to attend. The ZOOM link will be emailed a day prior to the class.
